How to prepare a healthy soup recipe using only your own ingredients, no special equipment, and no cooking utensils.
Here’s how: Ingredients 1 cup chopped red onions (or more) 1 medium carrot, chopped 2 cloves garlic, peeled and diced 1 cup fresh ginger, peeled, finely chopped 2 tablespoons vegetable oil 1 cup water 1/2 cup flour 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon baking powder 1 teaspoon cinnamon 2 teaspoons onion powder 2 teaspoons garlic powder 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper 1/4 cup coconut oil 1 tablespoon soy sauce 1 tablespoon brown sugar 1 tablespoon vinegar 1 tablespoon olive oil 2 tablespoons coconut water (optional) Instructions Peel and dice the red onions and add them to a small bowl.
Place the carrots, garlic, ginger, and carrot mixture in a large bowl.
Whisk the flour, salt, baking powder, cinnamon, and onion powder together until combined.
Add the oil, water, and flour mixture.
Mix well and then pour in the vegetable oil, coconut water, baking, sugar, vinegar, and olive oil.
Mix together again.
Add in the coconut water and vinegar mixture.
The soup should be slightly thickened with the vinegar.
Add salt, stir, and pour into a small pot or bowl.
Let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
Taste the soup.
Add more vinegar if needed, if it’s too thick, add more coconut water or coconut oil, or use the cayanne pepper and cinnamon in the soup as desired.
Recipe Notes If you don’t have access to fresh green onions, or if you have some leftover carrots, you can substitute them with chopped onion.
